Welcome to YOUR Website

This website belongs to you – to all the members of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is published by the Jefferson County New York Intergroup as a service to the local Alcoholics Anonymous Community. Let us know what you like and what new features you would like to see and we’ll see if we can satisfy you.

This website belongs to you – to all the members of Alcoholics Anonymous in District 0700 -Jefferson County & Lowville. It is published by the Jefferson County New York Intergroup as a service to the local Alcoholics Anonymous Community. The purpose of this website is to be an easy-to-find resource for you.

Intergroup exists to serve the community. Publishing meeting lists, on paper and online, maintaining a 24/7 AA Helpline (315-788-2280), public education, outreach to persons in treatment and in jail or prisons, educating about the Grapevine- our “meeting in print”, and more – this is what Intergroup committees do. To see all the committees of your Intergroup go to the Intergroup and GSO page.

This is an invitation to explore the new features on your website: The Events Calendar has been active for two months. The Archives has just expanded to include a Documents Library where Intergroup business meeting minutes are available to read. In time, past years minutes will be added as well as documents of historical interest … and … whatever the community wants … as appropriate for an Archive. Don’t miss the Audio Archive where you can listen to local speakers and interviews.

This is your website, and it needs your help. Anyone representing their group can contribute Coming Events. Additional volunteers will be needed for the Archives Committee and Website Committee, and the Helpline, Treatment Committee, and Corrections Committee, can always use more help.

Service is a significant part of Twelfth Step Work and the rewards in spiritual growth, fellowship and fun are great. “Join us on the road of Happy Destiny …”

Watch for coming “Help Wanted” announcements in this space.
