Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
The Grapevine has several ways the individual AA can participate in the Grapevine Community. You can Share Your Story! Follow this link for details: https://www.aagrapevine.org/share or contact your Intergroup Grapevine Representative Tiffanie P. Click to Open message form.
If your AA Group within Jefferson County and Environs has a meeting cancellation or group closure, please contact the JCI Web Servant via text or email (contact information can be found on the JCI Trusted Servants list) with the details. Any such cancellations/closures, if any, will be listed below for convenience, and will also be noted on the individual group’s meeting listing on this website as well as reflect on the AA “Blue Chair” meeting Guide App (note that without written notification, any said cancellation will NOT reflect on the JCI website “Announcements” or “Meetings” pages, or on the AA “Blue Chair” Meeting Guide app).
Notices and announcements (other than events) will be displayed here as blog posts.
